Founded in 2013, Dance for a Cure was created to raise awareness about pediatric cancer while capturing the spirit of Penn State’s renowned Dance Marathon (THON®). Our event brings together instructors from diverse backgrounds to teach a variety of dance styles throughout the evening, offering a unique and engaging experience for participants. Since its inception, Dance for a Cure has welcomed over 100 dancers, ranging in age from 21 to 65+, united in the fight against pediatric cancer. Proceeds are donated to THON® and its sole beneficiary, the Four Diamonds Fund, supporting research and care for children battling cancer.
